After a two-decade hiatus, the thrill of the rodeo is coming back to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Bear Mountain Rodeo Company is bringing a three-week Rough Stock ONLY Rodeo series to the east end of Main Street, promising consecutive weekends of high-energy entertainment.

Every summer, the mountain town of Red River, New Mexico, comes alive with patriotic pride and small-town charm during its annual 4th of July Parade & Celebration. Nestled in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, this event is more than just a parade—it’s a full day of family fun, community spirit, and star-spangled joy.
